Using the cool setting is in many ways better than using a high heat setting. The heat will make the hair easier to style though. The actual use of the cool setting is as a finishing aid. After you blow dry on high heat, use the cool setting to lock in the style by neutralizing the heat.

Blow drying your hair on any setting will cause some form of damage. Of course since there will be no heat the damage will be minimal but if done continuously if will break.

No, it doesn't. But if you are going to wash and blow dry your hair everyday, make sure that you use some good protection conditioner on your hair. It helps to keep down the dryness from your hair. Also be careful when you are combing or brushing because that is what causes split ends.

No. Actually it's better for it than drying it on Hot, or Warm, because there's no risk for heat damage. If you do often dry it with a blow dryer (like every morning) apply a heat protetion product.

yeah its worse than certainly straightening it... yet i normaly enable my hair air dry over evening...yet particularly situations I ought to blow dry it so i purely upload a number of this bypass away in conditioner stuff on the ends of my hair and a few frizz ease spray stuff...

no the cool setting adds shine. after blowdrying my hair with the hot one, I use the cool setting. it makes my hair smooth, soft, and shiny
