They want nothing to do with Jesus, and some even deny his existence, yet instinctively when swearing, his name comes out of their mouth. Is it possible we were created as spiritual beings? I haven't heard anyone curse using Allah's name or Buddha......

Can bitter and sweet water come from the same fountain? How can people say with their mind that God does not exist, but then they curse in His name. Their heart betrays their mind, because our creator has placed eternity inside of all of us. Therefore every time they curse in His name their heart crys out that he exists. Most just don't like to admit it because if they did, they would have to live different.

there's a lots better value in Jesus being the "bright Morning celebrity" and a some distance lesser value in Lucifer who replaced into as quickly as a "shining celebrity". Stars could nicely be angels, kings, leaders, however the single which is the bright celebrity stands happy with something who're much less important. it quite is the Lamp in Revelation 21:23 who will shine in the Temple as God's eternal easy! Archangels could via bright, yet they don't look to be the bright Morning celebrity who's the eternal easy of adult males in John a million:4-5!

I believe that early Christians would call upon the Lord in times of great danger and without sufficient time to pray would in faith call upon the holy name for protection, through the centuries un-believers hearing this would imitate this as a mockery of Christian beliefs and this has become an unfortunate form of derision against Christ, the evil one of course had his hand in this.

Because it is the "spirit" of Satan that causes people to use "foul language" per say. Satan despises God and Jesus. Most people love the world (of which Satan is god of) and the things in it, and think nothing of it when they use Gods' or Jesus' name in vein. This shows disrespect for God and everything that He stand for.............A true Christian who has given their life over to God and His Holy Spirit, does not disrespect His Father. Using the Lord's name in vein is breaking one of His Commandments. Swearing in general is not a proper way of communicating nor acceptable as a true saint in the family of God. God expects His children to love Him enough so as not to disgrace His name or His families name.

That's like asking why we say "darn" instead of "karn." It's just a cultural and linguist thing. I say Holy Cow too ... it doesn't mean I believe that cows possess spiritual properties (tasty though!)

you haven't heard anyone curse using Allah's name cause you live in the US>>>or in the wrong part of the US to really notice... and um...ya---- you don't have to get rid of a habit just cause you don't believe it.... ex:

what the hell?
holy cow!
Jesus Christ!
Jesus!
damn it!
...the only reason why most of them have something to do with Jesus Christ is cause we know about him very well.... otherwise we would use other phrases....

like:

oh sh**!
F***!
screw off!

something like that.

Many cast of demons and heal sick in Jesus Christ name and even though they do not believe they still testify his name has power to use it to curse
