THAIS IS WHAT SOMEONE STATED IN ANSWERS TODAY ''Listen, don't start crying and reproting because you ask a loaded question and get honest answers from people that you may not want to hear. You ask a question you should be big enough to accept all answers. That is the problem in America today, that is that people are supressed from their honest opinions and the truth from anyone differant than them they often deem racist or they use their question to entrap a racist to exact a simple racist revenge in order to have the answer reamoved.
Secretively it makes the asker and the person whinnnig about that answer the true racist because they only want answers that affirm their own belief and racist ideas. With that in mind I shall answer honestly.

NO! I believe racially mixed people are hideous at best. The Bible says "kind after kind" and calls racially mixed children "mongrels" which are detestable to God.
Hosea 7:8 (LXX). race mixing and abomination to God.
Corinthians 6:14).'

This statement was written by someone by the name of Bronson. He a pathological racist that of course believe he and the christian separatists movement are the only ones who know the truth.
This person has something negative to say about blacks and Jews on side to Fox News and Rush on the other. He also thinks 9/11 was an inside job. (May have a point there)
READ the bible so you can spot a 'fake'.No version of the bible has this statement in it, but of course There is already a set excuse of why this is happening the Jews.
If this where really true you'd read it somewhere else other than yahoo answers.
I'm sure Bronson would say that its wrong if Blacks are involved, I wonder if a Caucasians and a Europeans mixed races if that's OK.
I'm he or someone who thinks like him will respond with all hate can they some up, let's get hope they use the spell checker this time.

Some texts do seem to say that. On the other hand, all humans have decended from Noah. So what are the different "races" unless they are the result of too much inbreeding (too small a gene pool) and if that is the case, it seems like mixing races would be good. It is beyond me. I am still studying it, but at this point I am not willing to take a side.

"Ephraim is mixed among his people; Ephraim became a cake not turned..." (This is Hosea 7:8 from the LXX.)
You're trying to convince us that God is calling interracial marriage an abomination?
I Corinthians 6 (the whole chapter) says nothing about interracial marriage. It's talking first about people Christians who sue each other, and then about those who try to justify the worst of sins, your verse having to do with temple prostitution.
I have to conclude that the person you quote who calls you a racist is correct. Not only are you hateful of other races, you use the Bible to justify your hatred without reading it to see what it really says.
(Can you imagine a "fundie" like me, and a WASP of the worst kind married to an Asian girl! Guess I'm going to Hell for that one, huh?)

First of all everyone is entitled to their opinion about this issue at hand. If you really seek the bible you will see that there was people in the bible that married from other races. Such as moses he married a woman that was from a black tribe. if you read on and really do some research on this you will find that there was some people in the bible, Godly people who had a major part in the bible that married from another tribe.

To take that idea to its eventual conclusion that would result in extreme inbreeding and all kinds of physical and mental problems. There is nothing like using religion to expound ideas of racial purity. Remember those kinds of ideas bought us the horror of WWII, the racial cleansing currently going on in the Sudan and other problems too numerous to mention. Whereas it is true that marriages are strongest on average when the two people involved have more in common that does not mean that everything should stay as like to like - this is not medival times nor should we be embarking on witch hunts, racial cleansing, pograms or anything else that puts one against the other.

I fail to see how Hosea 7:8 justifies mixing of races is an abomination. When reading Hosea 7 you also need to read chapters 5 and 6 to take 7 in context. God lays he case out against Ephraim (Israel). Instead of having faith in God, they went to their neighbors for help (Hosea 5:13). In Hosea 7, it indicates that Ephraim going to its neighbors for help has "sapped their strength."
Proof texts to prove certain points are a dangerous thing. I would suggest the answerer in the prior question should heed this warning.

(Numbers 12:1) And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
People often refer to the Bible for support that interracial relationship is wrong. Well, if Moses married a Ethiopian (Black) woman and God Blessed it, then why do people today have a problem with it?

In the proper terms race mixing is an abomination. This is in terms of a believer marring an unbeliever. God does not see color in his people as we do. Don't get me wrong he sees color but not as in racism. God sees our heart and would prefer that a believer not marry an unbeliever. For the unbeliever will drag the believer down. Heb 13:4 Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whore mongers and adulterers God will judge.

All kinds of intolerance, blind hatred, pettiness, and small-minded bigotry has been justified in the name of religion. Somehow human society has managed to grow up in spite of resistance from those elements that stubbornly cling to the dictates of their ancient scriptures, which perpetuate all manner of backward and uncivilized thinking.
This is the 21st century. Don't hang back with the brutes.
