You will first need to apply to a college where you can meet your goals. Then you should file for federal and state aid. www.fafsa.ed.gov is the website. Contact your college financial aid office to find out if your state offers state grants. If so, find out if you need to file a gpa verification, or other forms to apply.

You'll probably need to find a job that has flexibility of hours to allow you to work around your college schedule. Most college students work, but full time will take some discipline.

You should also consider work study, since money from work study employment doesn't count against you in your income for the following year's FAFSA.

Good luck!

Need more details.

You can apply for Federal work study. You can get your standard Aid Package and work during the day and go to class at night on on weekends.

You can always take classes online. There are some pretty thorough programs out there that allow you to take most of your courses online and take some in person.

I'm assuming you are returning to college here and not high school. You first need to fill out a FAFSA at www.fafsa.us. It will ask for your financial information and which universities you are interested in attending. You also need to speak to the financial aid officer at that school. They can help you with grants, scholarships, and loans as well as housing (on and off depending on location), food, and books. Good luck and congrats for returning to school!
