We'll stage a hoax. If we can beam a strong industrial light at the sky, and put a spaghetti monster on the lid, it'll be projected up into the sky,. Then we need a megaphone and some words like 'the flying spaghetti monster - the true god!' christians will flee their ranks to join!

Scary? No way. I spoke to the flying spaghetti monster last week...ironically he doesn't seem much of a monster. People should have a little faith in him..he's nicer than you think...

2,000 years ago people believe in the Greek Gods. Now we think of it as ludicrous but perhaps in 2,000 years people will see as ridiculous for believing in a carpenter that was crucified. So, no it wouldn't surprise me if everyone in 2,000 years believe it in the spaghetti monster.
