when I get married? I'm thinking about getting a portrait done of me and him and having it put onto a canvas...any other ideas...?

I'd take your idea one step further and find a great picture of the two of you together when you were a baby or little girl- perhaps having that put on canvas with a quote or some note that says "daddy's little girl" or something to that extent. I did a collage for my father of pictures of me and him when I was young, accompanied by pictures of me when I was older with him, doing the same things he does (running, etc.) and as you would on a scrapbook page, in beautiful stickers it said "Like Father, Like Daughter." It turned out really nice.

dads are very hard to buy for if he's into any kind of sport get him a season ticket of the team he surports or a gift voucher to buy what he wants from the sport shop this always works for me as this is something he will enjoy

i normally make handmade gifts for special people....like making a frame made with different mediums , or using raw lentils to make a frame or scenery ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i also made a big thankyou card by sticking coloured rice on it.
