I, myself, didn't know we were exchanging gifts for this occasion until last night when he told me he knew what he was going to get me for months. I'm thinking, I had no idea. I figured we go out to eat or something like that, but exchanging gifts? I don't have a problem with it; I just wish he had put the idea out there a little sooner. I feel like there has already been a lot of gift giving here lately with christmas and valentine's. and then here we go again. And quite, frankly I've run out of ideas.

To get a further idea, we're from tennessee and yes he is as country as it gets. He does all that hunting and 4-wheeling, and he has a real nice Jeep that I had to buy him step bars to get in.

A 1 year anniversary is always special... I remember mine.

My man isn't much into the whole country thing, but I got him a bracelet (a nice silver one) and had engraved on the back.
"To many more years together. Love Mouse".
It's now been 10 years and he still wears the bracelet.

Even as a country guy, you can do that or engrave a watch or hey... how about a belt buckle. Does he wear those ???
These are just my ideas but I'm sure whatever you get him... he'll like.

It's not the gift that counts, it's the thought.

Jeez, what an asshead for thinking on his own and deciding to give you a gift because he loves you. How can you LIVE with a man like that? You poor thing. A thoughtful man can be such a pain, how DO you do it?

Does he have a favorite cologne? If so, get him that. Or if he likes videogames, get him a videogame. Those two work every time (unless the guy doesn't like cologne or videogames...)!
