Some of the 'bullets' are also moving straight from left to right on the image.

its quite possible. many times journalists and news stations will photoshop pictures to make it look more like they WANT it to look as opposed to what it actually looks like.

I've been in snow where it was windy and the snow is blowing all over the place. It doesn't look like a photo that would even be WORTH the time to photoshop. I vote it's real.

Not photoshopped.

That image is very easy to capture with camera you can adjust shutter speed and capable of using an accessory flash
