no, The Bible does say that "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." Hebrews 9:27-28

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

I have two reasons for the full acceptance of reincarnation.

1) We see its evidence in the seasonal cycles of the earth.

Rebirth in spring, maturation in summer, harvest in fall, and death in winter. Then, miraculously, the earth is reborn in spring once more. Given that we are a part of this environment, why then would the laws evidenced by the life of the environment not fully apply to us?

2) Personal experience of the validity of reincarnation.

I went through past-life regression as a result of a debilitating phobia. Once I discovered the source of this phobia, I was able to effectively deal with it, with the help of the therapist involved in the regression. The phobia was rooted in two separate lifetimes.

Yes, I know this is anecdotal evidence but having tried a variety of different psychiatric treatments and methods, only past-life regression worked. I believe it's effectiveness was due to finding the "source" of the problem which did not occur during my current lifetime.

I don't believe, reincarnation is a fact, is a science. Do you believe in getting old and die? No, is the law of Nature.
"As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change".
PURPORT
Since every living entity is an individual soul, each is changing his body every moment, manifesting sometimes as a child, sometimes as a youth, and sometimes as an old man. Yet the same spirit soul is there and does not undergo any change. This individual soul finally changes the body at death and transmigrates to another body.

I do not believe in reincarnation any more than I "believe in" gravity.

I accept the fact that it is a part of existance.

just as the progression of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades... reincarnation is a part of existance.

I do not blame those who do not see it, or understand it, as it is largely not their own fault that they do not see it.

but for me, its as obvious as gravity, or turning on a light.

the problem is, like turning on a light, while obvious to someone who can see... to someone who was born blind... or is blindfolded, it is not at all obvious when the light has been turned on!

and the most frustrating thing, (analogy) is trying to prove to someone that you turned on the light, when they are blindfolded, and do not even recognize the theoretical possibility that they might be blindfolded, but are confident that they can see, and their eyes are open and uncovered. ... despite when its rather obvious to YOU that they are blindfolded.

edit: also, welcome to a much larger world, as you come to understand this fact. (that reincarnation exists)

Yes i do...reincarnation is real hell...n god realization is the real heaven...i believe in it...becuz it is less superficial...like after u die if u have done good u go heaven which is a place as described in the fairy tales?...god wouldnt be so childish...god created us from nothing n then for no reasons offered us a place in his palace if we do good? wads da point in even creating us or giving us heaven? for god's company becuz he is bored or lonely?...U see there is consciousness in everything...but from the start not all these consciousness were part of the highest vibrational state which is god...now it gives a reason why humans n living things n everything else are created...u will have to reach god realization n become one with the supreme consciousness...so u will reborn again n again in THIS hell until u reach heaven which is becoming one with god...now it gives everything a reason...y we r created...wad god wants...

As a Buddhist, indeed I do. The logic of it makes perfect sense, that the mind goes on after the physical body ceases to function. The Buddha's teachings on it are amazingly logical and if you want to get the Buddhist perspective, you'd get a kick out of checking out some books on the subject. Much of the concept of rebirth ties in with studies of how the mind works, karma, and other issues, so don't be afraid to cross reference and question the answers... the Buddha wants us to never take his word on ANYTHING.

No I don't believe in reincarnation because when you die you either go to Jinnah or Jahannam depending on your deeds.

Yes I do and I believe I have one of the oldest living souls to date. Its not just a feeling I have its dreams, knowledge and benevolence, that has carried me when I have suffered so much.
