You don't. That's why it puzzles me when the piety claim that Hitler was an atheist. Why, oh why, would an atheist's target for genocide be a religious one? Atheist do not have animosity towards religious people. If they have any antipathy at all, it would be towards religion itself, not it's followers. Atheists want world peace, not more religious wars.

I spent a decent chunk of my life as a soldier. I certainly am not a pacifist by any stretch. There is nothing in atheism that I can think of that would lead me into an offensive fight. I could see being attacked by the religious for it, but there is no reason that I would care that they waste their life.

Simple, you run up to an enemy, shoot them and declare I kill you in the name of atheism!
On the serious side atheists could band together and start killing any theists around, but that wouldn't make much sense, now would it?

There's a difference between being anti-religion and Atheist. I suppose you could kill in the name of anti-faith, but if you didn't care about faith then it doesn't apply to you.
On the other side of the fence it is easy - because you are non-believers, heathens, and a big sinning Athiest disgrace!

You don't. One of the reasons that Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot etc. seemed especially cruel was that they never rationalized their killings with religion.
They rationalized it with claims of justice in material games.
Stalin actually ended up using the Mother Russia patriot schpiel as his call to arms.

You don't.
You kill for religious reasons.
You kill for political reasons.
You may even kill for simple greed.
But no atheist ever killed anyone because he felt that atheism demanded it.

I don't know but it really wouldn't amount to anything.
When you die you won't go to Heaven or Nirvana.
You'll just have wasted your life and once it's gone it's
gone for good.
