Your thoughts on the following? No scripture quoting; speak from your head or heart.
At one end of the spectrum, the Amish; a very austere, conservative denonmination. They avoid many of the features of modern society.
At the other end, we have things like "Christian rock," - which a few decades ago was unheard of - and groups like Christian bikers and nudists.
I submit that neither is "right or wrong" in its lifestyle, but rather that lifestyle is basically irrelevant, unless your a thief or a pimp. Christianity has some core beliefs, and beyond that, it really doesn't matter whether you wear basic black - or nothing at all.
It doesn't matter whether you ride a horse-drawn carriage or a Harley. These material details have absolutely no bearing on the sincerity of one's beliefs.
The Amish's austerity does not endear them more to their God, and nudists' concept of body acceptance does not make them unappealing to their God.
We're not meant to be like sausage links or drones.
