I know this guy, he's 15, about 5 foot 3 to 4 inches I guess. He's (for a guy) not that big, or athletic. Fairly thin. He used to be very hyper, and full of energy, then he started drinking these monster drinks. Every single time I see him, there's one in his hand. He even drinks them on Sunday mornings before church. he gets the 16oz ones. He is not longer hyper, but acts druged. But continues to drink these things. It scares me. I don't know a lot about thesse things, I don't even drink Sprite! So, would some knowledgeble people please help me out?

Your friend may be getting too much of the vitamins and minerals in the drink. It tells on the can that you should not drink over 3 a day. The same as with vitamins or other over the counter health aids there is a problem if a person uses too much. The body stores most all but the B-vitamins and you can get a toxic effect from to much of any of these. He may be getting a form of toxemia.

any type of power drink commonplace is basically too a lot. i'm a monster drinker yet i attempt to reduce it to some situations a week now. I used to drink it each and on a daily basis using hours I keep yet then i noticed some cramping. There are issues in the beverages that once fed on each and on a daily basis can affecr kidneys and liver. you're more beneficial advantageous off taking a commonplace B nutrition..B helps fix organic power.

On a regular basis they are not good for you. No soft drinks are. Sorry kids! FACT: Tons of Sugar, Artificial Color, And Words you never heard of in a can = Junk. The body doesn't like it. Every now and then (if you must) it's really no big deal but if you want to make your brain and body unhappy keep chugging those drinks!

WATER WATER WATER.

A kid at my school did a report on those things once. They SERIOUSLY screw with your blood pressure, and are loaded with caffeine. He's probably getting a bit dependent on them, like people who drink coffee daily. After a while your brain needs the caffeine boost to function normally (read it in National Geographic). Pester him till he cuts back. It's not healthy to drink those things constantly.
