Worse, while waiting, you actually know that it won't come, but you kept hoping anyway.

How to brace myself when it really doesn't come?

I am so scared now that my heart and soul will collapse when it becomes a fact cast in stone that it will never come.

You just have to take it 1 day at a time. It may seem hard now but if you just take it slow you'll realize that you can make it through. You'll never stop hoping for it to come but if you give it time you'll figure out a way to keep going about your life on a day to day basis while still holding on.

Yes...I know that feeling very well. The thing is that until it doesn't come, you have time to figure out an alternate plan.

I can remember times where I thought I just couldn't do without something or someone and as it turns out, I was LUCKY that I never got what I had hoped for so hard.

Sometimes you ask God for something and his answer is "No". Usually it's that way for a reason.

Yeah - I ordered something from cvs.com and it didn't arrive so I had to call them and it turns out they messed up the order so they had to put it in again but it turned out the reason there was a problem in the first place was because one item was out of stock so I waitd for it and it never came.

Yep, i waited and waited for him to feel the same and he never did and when I finally realized it i was crushed.
