Supplemental info; I believe the current Jewish year is 5767. The potential of Abraham offering his son Isaac on Mt. Moriah (part of Jerusalem); turned into Abraham offering a ram (a male sheep; Jesus a male lamb of God). A Jew could give you the approximate year of the event.
May you receive a pleasant surprise there today to God's glory!!!

In the year 1893 B.C.E. Isaac was 25 years old and his father Abraham was 125 at the time.

Abraham was born in the year 2018 B.C.E. so if you subtract 125 from this, you have the time in which his faith was put to the test.
The actual sacrifice never happened for an angel of God interceded.
Abraham proved himself loyal and was richly rewarded.

About 4000 years ago. And he did not sacrifice his son. He was about to, but GOD told him to stop when HE saw his piety. His son was also pious because he was willing to do anything that GOD wanted to be willed. He obliged with no question when abraham(pbuh) was about to sacrifice him. PEACE!

he never sacrificed him. Isaac was replaced with a goat which was sacrificed in his place. That is the day we celebrate Eid -ul- Azha.

I dont think we can be sure about the date.

In that story, Isaac wasn't actually sacrificed. He just got the crap scared out of him and was led to believe by god that his father was a murderer.

I doubt that this in actuality happened. The story was written down several thousand years ago.
