First of all, you dont have to work in the morning. Theres an excellent thing on the market called the Cross Crunch for 30 dollars. Go to crosscrunch.com and you can do it while at work or watching the baby.

Second of all, crunches are for the purpose of building muscles mainly in the upper abdomen. However, they are the key to six-pack abs if you have little belly fat.

To reduce belly fat, good excersises are running/jogging, jumping rope, and jumping jacks. These are cardiovascular/aerobic exercises. Other cardiovascular/aerobic exercises are swimming, hiking, and step-climbing. Do these and you'll have no belly fat in no time. If you think you can remove fat in a target area like the stomach, you are wrong. Think about it…have you ever seen someone with extremely fat legs but six-pack abs or the other way around. You have to train your body as a whole.

Big causes of belly fat are bad posture/slouching because one of the biggest jobs of the abdomen is to hold the body up. Stress is another big factor because when the body is stressed, your body makes a high-calorie chemical and sends it through your blodstream, adding fat to unwanted areas. Alcohol is also extremely bad for belly fat so if you drink…STOP!!!

You also should be on a low calorie diet, but not on one less than 1500 calories a day, because muscles are the first food for the body if it does not have enough energy (calories). This is because muscles are protein and protein is the best food for your body. The diet should consist of fruits and vegetables and you should remove all junk foods such as pizza, french fries, chips, pretzels, burgers, Pop-Tarts, and so on. NEVER GO TO MCDONALDS...their food is extremely high in calories; three of their shakes have over 1100 calories!!! For more info on McDonalds nutrional info go to http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_controller.nutrition.index1.html

I hope this helped you!!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Well, I've never had a baby, so first thing I would do is talk to your doctor about what level of exercise is appropriate for you. I thought I had heard somewhere that exercise can create an acid in breast milk, but I could certainly be wrong.

I would start with a good workout DVD. That way you can do it at home when it's convenient for you. I do the TurboJam DVDs and one thing you may like about those is that there is a low-impact option... that is, there is a one person that does the workout at a lighter pace -- no jumping, etc.

Also, you should start looking at your diet. Diet and exercise truly do go hand-in-hand when it comes to weight loss. I like Bill Phillips' book Body for Life.

Good luck!

The problem with losing weight is a lot of people try to start out way too hard. Putting themselves on IMPOSSIBLE diets and extreme exercise. Yes, what they said about creating a calorie deficit is absolutely true. It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound. But in order to get there, start off slow. Keep your diet balanced and healthy. The key to a healthy diet is not to deprive yourself. This means not cutting out specific food groups as well as if you get a craving for say chocolate, waiting about 15 minutes to see if it subsides and if it doesn't, it's okay to have a little bit. By depriving yourself, you WILL fail. As far as exercise goes, you can start by walking 30 minutes a day, 3-4 days a week. Each week try to increase the intensity of which you are exercising by either going longer or harder. You can join a good gym and have a personal trainer show you special workouts to get your abs in shape, but you cannot neglect cardio workouts that burn so many calories. Good luck to you!

if you are breast feeding,it should be easier for you to lose weight.
if you find hard ways to exercise, get a pouch and carry him/her around while you start by walking.heavy exercise is hard for anyone to start with.find sit ups will work.if you are very large you may not be able to reach your knees at first.you will get that accomplished soon after some of the weight has started to lessen.
if you had a cesearan, you might not be able to tighten your stomach muscles so fast.if this is your first child, sit ups will also help with the stomach muscles.
another thing you can try is getting a bike, ride with your baby in a seat in the back, and why i say ride a bike, with the motion of your legs working up and down they do move your belly-which does burn calories.i have had 7 children and this has seemed to work for me.GOOD LUCK>

Motivation and inertia are the biggest issues when you start any sort of lifestyle change.

I don't know you, so its tough to get inside your head and guess what makes you tick, so I'll just go with what I know from my experience.

1. Just get up and do it one morning. Walk. Pushing the baby is better. Don't think about it, just do it.

2. Second day will be easier than the first, the third easier than the second.

3. No matter how crummy you feel, you will always feel better after you get going. I promise.

4. Believe it or not, waking up with sore muscles comes to be a pleasant feeling.

I don't really know what you mean by "I just can't,"

so, I will say this. IF it's only about physical appearance and how "fat" you are and not about over all health, you don't really need to exercise.

cutting calories and exercising more are both equally effective forms of weight loss.

I would say, just cut calories to 1200 a day and take a multi vitamin and you will start losing weight.

a 3500 calorie deficit equal 1 lb of weight loss.

If you do this is WILL lose weight, but you will still be flabby.

First off you need to eat products that help promote energy and stay away from foods that "kill" energy. You have to start by staying away from processed "white" breads, anything that contains high fructose corn syrup (yes, unfortunately you have to start reading labels) and no trans fats (fast food will drain your energy). Try to eat more times during the day.

I recommend making a bee pollen shake. Because bee pollen is a complete food. It has more protein than whey, is a complex carb. and has natural B vitamins (needed for energy production).
I would also recommend Royal Energy Tea from Bee Royal Products. This is green tea, bee pollen and freeze dried fresh honey. The natural B vitamins in the bee pollen will stabilize your blood sugar and give the caffeine longer sustaining energy.
