I have a 1989 Toyota Van Wagon and want to get a transmission flush...?

I have a 1989 Toyota Van Wagon and want to get a transmission flush, I have changed out about half the fluid in the transmission in the last 6,000 miles. It has 160,000 miles on it. If changing half the fluid on it hasn't hurt it, I don't see how changing all of it can.

doing a total flush is a good idea if you have 30,000+ miles on the fluid or is discolored dark red also if the trans has 90,000+ miles i would aslo recomend a new filter
