Does any one know any family from Spain with the last name Lomeli? Or may originated from Spain?

My grand father with the last name Hinojosa married a Spaniard lady with the last name of Lomeli and i am trying to figure out if i may have family in Spain.

Check the LDS Family Search site. There are many Lomeli entries on that site from Mexico. I would have guessed Italian, but then, I would have been incorrect.
