My relatives say they pray everyday for certain peiople to be saved. Just wondering do you all do this and is it like a list or is it just a general intercessionay thing. Also do you pray for the regulars on here like Jim and Godzilla?

Yes I do, but I found that admitting to, or asking people to pray for others is considered insulting to them, so now I do it quietly.
I have a prayer list and there are several names from Yahoo! Answers on it, but I will not be specific.

Depends on the person. Most people pray for their family, friends, and anyone that they personally know. I suppose some people pray a general prayer, like, "bless eveyone who read this". I usually do. I also pray for anyone who crosses my mind whenever I happen to think about it, but it is not a regular thing.

I do this as often as I can.......and yes....I continue to pray for Jim and Godzilla as well.....and you too, Eye Candy.
God loves all of you and wants you back.

It's not done out of self interest or to get brownie points from God. We are saved by grace through faith....not by our works. Our works would never be enough to gain access into heaven....the work has been done for us on the cross.

I have a set list of regulars I want to see come to the Truth. It is intercession.
I don't know any of the "regulars" on here.

I don't have any repetitious prayers - I pray what is in my heart that day. There are times I will pray for specific individuals, and I always pray for my family.

Yes I do pray everyday......and especially for the ones God lays on my heart to keep praying for.

If a Christian engages in prayer generally yes.
The answer however is completely up to God.
He will not force Himself on anyone, but will give them opportunity.
