It's actually your ID. The 'purple' makes you feel old and the 'hutful' makes you feel miserable. Change your ID to 'Pink and helpful', 'Blue and generous', 'cream and kind' would make a dramatic change in your age and mood. BTW, look for someone who's feeling older and more miserable, and you'll feel slightly better. Try to find how you can cheer up that person, you'll definetely feel much better.

You could just be having a bad day, it is Monday after all. Do something just for yourself, if you can afford it, have a massage or hair cut, if you are on a budget, make something nice for your dinner or have A drink. Try and think of the positives in your life, and try to think positively about everything. Even faking a positive attitude will eventually train your brain to be positive about life. There are plenty of people who will tell you to cheer up, but don't let them get you down.

You will feel better.

Sometimes we feel old because, in actuality, we are weary both mentally and physically. Sometimes life itself feels stale and old and we lose faith in everything. But it's vital to remember all the things that make you feel refreshed and young. Perhaps taking a bubble bath and doing your hair and makeup could be a start to that. As well, it's good to socialize with others who make you feel young. Do you know anybody like that? If so, make contact with them. If you are alone, listen to music that makes you feel good. And if you can, plan something really special just for yourself. Please note that, in the 21st Century, 45 is no longer considered "old" I've known people who seemed old at 25.

You could try one or more of these 'cheer you up' strategies: a nice walk; a cup of tea; a glass of wine with dinner tonight; a visit to a good friend to have a chat and a laugh; an outing to the theatre/cinema/restaurant; or buy something nice for yourself. Hope you soon feel a little happier!

Have you reached the ripe old age of forty? Maybe that's why you think you feel miserable. Life is for living and not procrastinating what ever age you are.

Also maybe the cats got the cream and you feel left out of it. Never mind tomorrow is another day and you don't give damn quite frankly do you!

Because if it's anything like here, the weather is grey and miserable and not conducive to wanting to get out and do things!
I've spent all day under my duvet working, because I can, and because I feel too miserable to get out from under my nest!
Have a cup of tea!

Hard to put a finger on it without knowing your actual age, but it's likely the syndrome where as we get older, we all go through feelings of ennui and frustration. And then we snap out of it. Only to go through it again sometime. And so on, and so on, and...
