i was transferred to the class where this guy is on for this last year in college. we don't speak or whatever but then one day he just told me he wants me to hear a song that he composed for me. then he started texting me and trying to be close. but we don't see each other that often because i go on hospital duties on different wards from where he goes, only once a week during class. then tonight he asked me if i would like to go to a post valentine concert where he and his band will be playing the song he composed and he said he really hopes i could come and he'll get me a ticket if i will and is waiting for my reply now. i have come from a breakup (2years ago) and recovering still because it had been on and off in the past two years. i like this guy and he interests me but i dont know what to do.. is it rude to say no? or if i go just to hear the song will he think that i like him too? which i dont want him to think......

thank you..

Say thank you, but I am not interested in you in a romantic way. It might hurt him at first but believe me, there is a fine line between writing songs about a woman, and watching her from a car across the street. dont play with his emotions, he is a human like any other person and has feelings.......

NO you need to no longer sense responsible. attraction is an extremely own element and purely through fact somebody needs you to be attracted to them via no ability obliges you to sense that. Relationships are investments and in case you do no longer decide to invest then that's your selection. would you sense undesirable if i certainly needed you to purchase my Van yet you probably did no longer choose it. Now in case you think of he may be a robust guy or woman yet you have different thoughts to evaluate then tell him the state you're in. Spend time with him yet enable him understand which you're no longer waiting to pass forward. If he's a gentleman and worth it he will understand and you will quickly develope the comparable emotions for him. If he's purely too immature to appreciate then you definately it relatively is his lose.

Yes, if you go, he'll interpret that as you are interested in him.
If you're really not ready for another relationship, just say no - you don't have to be mean about it, just sincere.
You sound a little leery of this guy. Trust your instincts.

It sounds like this guy is in lust with you. He knows essentially nothing about you other than that you two share a class, and he writes you a song? It's a little creepy to me. If you have any doubts, tell him that you're not ready to date, but that you're flattered and thanks for the invite. I'd be officially creeped out.

He'll feel worse if you say yes and then break his heart later.

Tell him you'd like to be friends.
