My 12 week old puppy pees and poos everywhere! I knew I could smell it somewhere yesterday. Well, she did a big poo right on top on the vent, and when the heating goes on, well you can guess.
Anyway, at night she's in her crate and the next morning she's covered in poo. She does at least 2 mushy ones and rubs it everywhere on her like she doesn't care at all.
I decided to feed her a bit earlier than usual, at 5pm but still no change. I feed her twice, in the morning and again in the evening about a cup full each time. Any advice guys?????

Obviously guys I will not 'starve' my puppy! Ever heard of sarcasm. What I meant by the title was that it seems to be my only option! I've tried everything else.
And yes yoyoyoyo person, you are totally going overboard. Obviously you have no kids!!!!
I don't hit her with a newspaper and put her nose in it, but I know loads of people who do and though its not my way, I don't think its animal torture.
Lighten up and go save an animal or something instead of freaking out at my sarcastic remark.

Don't starve it. Why don't you try house training it. When you find a spot where the puppy went in the house rub her nose in it and smack her with a rolled up newspaper. That will teach her not to go in the house. After she knows not to go in the house she should start letting you know when she needs to go outside to do her thing.

Increase feeding and bathroom breaks, instead of 1 cup twice a day try 1/2 a cup 4 times a day make sure the last feeding time is 2-3 hours before you turn in for the night and the last thing you should do b-4 you say "good night" is a bathroom break for the pup.

That is a really horrid headline.... Should I starve my puppy? Ant then I read that someone wrote...Just rub the puppies nose in it's pee or poop and then smack it with a rolled up newspaper...You guys are CRAZY-and should be reported..and should never have children or own pets! Am I going overboard by saying all this? Maybe! I hope you solved your "puppy problem" and I hope the puppy is ok. The thing is, if you don't know anything about dogs/puppies....THEN DON'T HAVE/BUY THEM!! Plain & Simple! Would you smack your infant with a newspaper if "it's" still peing & pooping in it's diaper??? No! Good Luck to all of you with no normal sense!

I would take her out in the middle of the night at least once or twice she is still very young. My puppy sleeps with me and that way if she gets up, I know she has to go out. She is about 10 months know and since we go to bed early. I almost always go out with her in the middle of the night. Also, make sure you are outside for a long enough time, puppies will probably go a few times before coming in.

You should never starve a pet.

I would recommend first talking with a vet about this behavior, and then taking your puppy for behavior training. There could be a lot of reasons why this happens. You could also try a new food, my puppy is on Nutro Natural Choice and they guarantee smaller stool, that may be a choice.

There, also, could be potty training issues, and that could mean that you need to start a strict schedule. Start my taking you puppy out every hour if possible, then every two to let them know they can hold it and so on. Praise praise praise your puppy for going potty outside, and praise them on the spot. That may help...good luck

If you starve your puppy that is animal abuse!!! Maybe dont feed her alot just put food and water down so she eats when she wants to. Let her sleep with you instead of a cage so she knows her territory.

somthing may not agree with your puppy. Take your puppy and whatever food you're giving it to a vet. Perhaps your vet could suggest somthing more suitable for your puppy or find out whats wrong
