For an obscure brand and you want to pick it up, look in Woolworths, Argos and Makro (if local store and you are/know a member). I bought a 20 inch LCD from Woollies. On-Line and with some shops try www.richersounds.com. At Dixons, Currys and PCWorld (all same firm), they are cheaper via Internet. I wanted a Panasonic Plasma and cheapest happened to be Dixons - £300 more at Comet.

We went shopping all over for our 42" lcd tv and finally went with Sam's club, and get the extra warrenty with it.Ours is a Vizio and I'm really happy with it. Then if you have cable we had to get a high diffinition converter. There's only a few HD channels right now but within the year they will be adding more.Right now they're not charging for the HD channals but in 1 yr they'll charge 4.99 a month.

Just a Tip- LCD is better then Plasma. LCD TV's Last Longer, No Burn-ins. No high pitched sound when its High Up. Altho Plasma has a nice picture it fades away. And sometimes Plasmas need profesional instalation and are heavy. Contact me if you want more advice- thecoolman@taa.zzn.com
