just take them aside and mention it quietly. not in front of other people because that will embarrass them. it's not like you're offending them in anyway, you're doing them a favour.

i'm sure if you had bad breath you'd appreciate someone being honest with you. i know i would rather know.

Well your friend rather hear it from you than a stranger so just come out and tell your friend. If you are good friends, he/she will thank you for informing them, co believe or not, the dont realise that their breath is bad, cos they cannot smell the difference.

There are ways of improving breath odour or halitosis as it is called. Mouth washes, avoiding onions, garlic etc and also garlging with salt water helps. Most common source of bad breath is the tongue most ppl forget to clean it there.

Well I think you should be upfrnt and honest if they are a good friend they will understand. Try to help the situation. If they floss once a day and brush twice a day maybe 3 times and use a mouth rinse she shouldnt be having bad breath unless she is older but you didnt specify age here.

This is a very delicate situation. Chances are your friend all ready knows they have this problem and is embarrassed about it and if they aren't well I would be very nice about it. Try to talk to them in private. GOOD LUCK!
