I would say at the max 2 hours. You can go buy some of the insulated sippy cups and that will help as well. Also my son likes to do the same thing and he will hardly ever drink anything besides milk so i just fill his cup up about halfway full. This is an insurance that he will come back for a refill before the milk has time to spoil. I also rinse his cup out with hot water every time i fill it up. Do encourage water though esp. in the summer time. Good luck:)

Maybe you can give him ice water to carry around the house as he likes (or she) and start him on a regular cup sitting in one place wth milk. This way, you know he's still getting the amount of calcium he needs, and also that the milk is not spoiled.

General rule though, I would say an hour for the milk since that is what they say about formula as well.

No... if the baby wants to tote around the sippy cup than give her/him a cup with water.... cups with milk of juice should be kept cool anything out for more than an hour needs to be disposed of.. You don't want to take any chances with your precious baby... Water is great for babies anyway and if you start now she/he will not have a problem later on in life drinking water...

I worried about this too, so I started putting her milk in an insulated sippy cup with a couple of ice cubes, and it stays cold for much longer this way.

yes but not for too long. i'd say an hour or two at the most. i'm always weird about milk spoiling though, it's something that really bothers me. my husband gets a glass of milk and will drink on it for 5 hours sometimes which grosses me out. it's easy to tell when milk is bad though, just keep an eye on it.

something longer than an hour or 2 could be discarded despite the fact that room temperature has lots to do with it too. one ingredient to bear in concepts is that most of the bactria that kinds in milk is sturdy for us, it incredibly is how cheese and yogurt are made. You seam to have issues appeared after besides.

Everything I've read says milk is good for about 2 hours when unrefridgerated. If you are going to let him cary it around be careful he is not losing cups and then finding them again later. I would also be careful if it is particularly hot that day.
