For me I prefer gals to create opportunity and I take initiatives accordingly, so that both parties will not feel awkward if it is just a false signal.

Ahhh Jason......you don't like rejection now do you? Reading your statement "i prefer gals to create opportunity and I take initiatives accordingly, so that both parties will not feel awkward if it is just a false signal". You don't want a girl to say "No thank you", BUT, if she isn't your cup of tea and approaches you and you say "NO", then your feelers aren't hurt. SHAME ON YOU!

I am in the very beginnings of a new relationship. In the past, I've taken initiatives, the relationship grew quickly and exploded equally as fast. This time, I am trying to do it different. I am sitting back and allowing him to grow the friendship at a pace that is comfortable for him. When he initiates something - like a hug or a kiss, I make sure I respond in such a way that he knows I feel the same way. The waiting can sometimes be very frustrating, but for this relationship I think it is the right thing.
