When I used to have that problem I used aromatherapy method. A nice cooling leg gel is good. I used to get it from Avon and I dont know if body shop does it too. I found this web site with what I am talking about. I dont know how much you would want to spend but at least it lets you know.

Invest in a pair of good, supportive shoes, and wear socks that promote good circulation. They may cost a bit more, but in the long run you will benefit from it! Try to sit down once an hour and hold your legs out in front of you, then rotate your ankles and flex your toes. You'll be surprised at how much better your legs feel after a little stretching!
I wish you well!

If you are standing in one place for the majority of the night, ask your employer about purchasing a mat for you to stand on. Special mats are available that help to cushion you when you stand, taking some of the pressure off of your legs. Other than that make sure that you are wearing good shoes. You may want to invest in some support socks also.

mine sometimes get like that when I'm working a night shift.
make sure you are wearing correct well fitting shoes with low heels. Try some muscle rub cream from Boots chemist.
Once you finish your shift have a relaxing soak in bath with few drops of peppermint oil (cools down and soothes skin)

I recommend one of those portable foot spa's (around £40 from Boots). Go on, pamper yourself. You'll feel the benefits, especially if you put some aroma therapy oil in the spa water, too.
Best wishes, J
