We efiled with H&R Block and they said that it would be direct deposited on 2/23 but when I checked "Where's my refund?" it said 2/27, do they just overestimate it in case there are errors? That's a Tuesday...I thought they only deposited on Fridays. Thanks in advance!

As you can see, they always do direct deposits on Fridays, although their website always projects your refund date as the following Tuesday. As the time gets closer---like the Wed before usually---the IRS will update the Where's My Refund page and give you a direct deposit date of that Friday that they are doing it. According to this chart, you will get a direct deposit on 2/23.

We got our direct deposit in 8-1/2 days. Efiled late Wednesday, Feb. 7, and the bank showed the deposit early Friday, Feb 16. I efiled with TaxCut and paid them a $14.95 fee. The IRS overestimates.

I think they do only deposit on Fridays. I have always gotten mine on Fridays, and everyone I have known that has e-filed has gotten their's on Friday. Your's will probably come on the Friday before that.

They do the direct deposit on Fridays, but your bank may not post it til the beginning of the following week,
