Ok so my ex-girlfriend used to tell me all the time how hot guys that she met or knew at work were. It made me so mad, but if i looked at a girl and said she was hot she would filp the #%$ out on me. It would take me forever to get her to stop being mad. Is this normal? or did i get a bad apple?

Strangely, it's normal. If she wanted to be with those guys, she'd go after them and forget you. She may look at those guys, but she comes home to you. However, girls are generally insecure with themselves. They need to know that you think that she is the most beautiful thing in the world, and if you look at another girl and say or think that she's pretty, it hurts her and makes her feel like she's not enough. Just keep your thoughts about other girls to yourself, and ask her to do the same. This is not an unreasonable request.

LOL this is hilarious cuz i know exactly what u mean... im exactly like ur gf !! n no u didnt get a bad apple.. she mentions guys to make u get a tiny bit jealous cuz u know " ur a guy u dun get mad quick" but she does it so that u could give her more attention. And when u do it she flips out cuz she thinks u Dont think she's as pretty as the girl u mentioned.. i think alot of girls are like that in a way.. im guessing she's an attentions seeker like myself :P
so when she flips out next time tell her u only said that cuz she said some guy is hot .. u wanted her to see how it feels.. she still might get mad but she'll eventually stop pointing guys out :P n u can do the same.

It's really rude to point out how hot looking somebody else is to your significant other. If you see an attractive person, admire them of course, but keep it to yourself. However, if she was telling you how hot guys were that she worked with, that is absolutely tacky and, as someone who didn't appreciate it being done to her, she knew better. Women don't care for comments about other women just like men don't care for comments about other men, but generally don't get that crazy about it, especially if you buy some nice jewelry (ha). Seriously, you got a bad apple with that one for sure, but a bit of advice for the future.......look with your eyes and not your mouth, you'll have a much happier relationship. And if you're with someone who can't show you the same courtesy and does like your ex-girlfriend, then make her an ex as well.

It sounds maybe like she wanted to make you jealous for whatever reason, but she couldnt handle her own jealousy. In a normal relationship you accept that the other person can be physically attracted to strangers on the street. Its not a big deal usually in fact my boyfriend and I will often comment to each other, "that girl is cute", "egh, I've seen better." Its a matter of trust, I think you just had a bad apple with some issues. good luck.

I don't know everyone looks, but I don't want to hear how hot another girl is so I don't tell him how hot other guys are. Unless I'm in a good mood then I point out girls in bikini's to him and stuff. The way I look at it is if my husband leaves me for some girl in a bikini we shouldn't have been together anyway.

Sounds like the jealous type. My opinion was always this, its ok for everyone (boyfriend/girlfriend) to look at the menu, just don't order. Heck, there is something wrong if you dont notice a pretty woman or good looking guy. A lot of people don't want to hear about it though as they feel insecure that you think that person is better looking than them.

It's normal. There are double standards everywhere. some favor guys and some favor girls.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard girlfriends talk about how hot certain guys are with their friends in front of me. But If I did something similar talking abot hot girls, there'd be hell to pay.
Women are less self confident, so they believe we can handle it better. They're right.

it doesnt matter what you say, how you look, or what you do... a girl is going to get jealous! walking through the mall, on the beach, ANYTHING... girls are always looking at other girls and measuring them up!
sorry to tell you... its not really a bad apple... but your ex just has a huge mouth and really big self-confidence issues! if your with her ... there is a reason! there is always going to be someone hotter than yourself... time for her to realize that!!
but most girls are better at shutting their mouths!!!! so its cool... dont be afraid to try again... note to keep:"ALL girls are damn crazy!!!!!"

your girl has to realise that no matter what youd still want to be with her, as other females might attract u every now and then, this is normal and dosent mean ud forsake ur girl. honestly both of u have to work on not lusting on others. shes not a bad apple shes an emotionally selfish one not concerning herself with how U feel when she lusts.

You got a bad apple. ANYONE who acts like that (guy or girl) is insecure. If you love your self and have confidence in who you are and what you have to offer, it really doesnt matter who is looking at who. Thank God she's an "EX"!
