I am on them, my insomnia is so bad i have to take two 7.5mg tablets per night, my lack of sleep is due to arthritis too.
But they do work, and i wake up feeling OK, not like some of the other sleeping pills that make you still drowsy in the mornings, and often through the day too ?.
I did have a slight pounding heart for a short while, but that soon went and everything is OK now, but as you will know all people are different and you might not suffer these side affects.
Good Luck :-)

I am on zopiclone/zimovane. I am only on 1 every other night now as i have been taking them a while and the doctor thinks 1 a night is too much now! (hes not the one led awake all night) The only side effects i have is the funny taste in my mouth (like metal) apart from that they're pretty good. Some say they are addictive but i don't take 1 when i have had a drink (alcohol)

My husband uses it, he doesn't have any real problems i have taken it in the past as well and found the only problem is it leaves a very bitter taste in your mouth. It is quite a good one to use as unlike some others doesn't leave you with a "hangover" the next day, sorry you are suffering with insomnia it is miserable when you can't sleep hope you get over it soon

Yeah I've used it for quite a while, sometimes get a bit of a hangover the next day and a metallic taste on waking but not all the time. It can be quite addictive (although i havent found this myself) but it will certainly do the trick and help with sleeping problems. I find taking one every other day can be more effective.
