Well, they do say:

You cannot know Good without Evil, Peace without War, Love without Hate, so logically your point is well taken.

Hello;

God would still be in heaven where He has always been. Satan was once a resident there as well. Satan got the idea that he wanted to be worshipped like God. For this he was cast out into the earth. Satan still has his superior intelligence and strength. One of his best works is that he has more than half of the world convinced that he does not exist.

God created Lucifer. Lucifer created Satan because of his greed.

God made Satan and everything he made had/has a purpose. To say that one single thing is defining of God I think is a little off

No, Satan is not the polar opposite of God. Really he is no threat at all to God's sovereignty. As a fallen angel (that God created) Satan would be more like the polar opposite of the archangel Micheal.

God would still be God if it weren't for Satan, just like light would be light even if we didn't have a shadow to compare it to, but shadow needs the light to exist.

If you look in the OT there really isn't much about Satan doing bad things. Except in Job, but that's only coz God told him to.

God is the person killing everyone and sending delusions and hardening hearts.

With a god like that who needs Satan.

Satan has nothing to do with what God is today or ever. God is!,always was and always shall be,The purest,loving,merciful,almighty God.

Dear Friend,

No Satan did not, Satan perverted mankinds destiny to something that was not meant to be. Without him god would be as he is now, the one true god, creator of heaven and earth and worshipped by all who love the truth.

God Bless
