Some sort of plant that cats are very attracted to. This plant or "catnip" is used in many ways. The most common way to use catnip is for the enjoyment of ones feline. Putting catnip on any object gets a cats attention and some situations
(usually) a cat will rub up against it , eat it , roll in it , or just play with it. Also , catnip is used to get cats to eat again. How they do that is by putting this catnip on cat food the cat would probably eat it. Also people use catnip to get cats more physically active again. Although , some cats are not really attracted to this smelly substance and with some cats they tend to be afraid of it.
When I use catnip at my house of my cats eat it , and other roll in it and eat it. Lol.

catnip is a plant of Lamiaceae (mints) like wintergreen, peppermint, etc, that is basically the weed/cocaine of that cat world. They get a brief high while playing with it. All they need to do is smell or injest it.
