They go to heaven. People are not perfect, they sin; those who are saved go to heaven as their sins have been forgiven.

You do not possibly have a single way in the world to know that, do you?? You want people here to tell you what is in the afterlife, don't you?? How do they know?? They are all alive!!
I'll tell you how I deal with it because I have 2 people who have done that, a relative and a former friend. Just remember the good things about them, any kindness or loyalty they had, and trust that God feels the same way about them that You Do!! Do you think God would put them in hell with murderers and rapists that died in sin??
I'm not preaching to you. I have had this happen to me and it hurts!!
It's entirely up to You how You think about it!! It wasn't Your Decision was it?? NO!! SO Stop Feeling Guilty, because you cannot talk a person out of it if they are determined.
Now all you can do is Hope!! I'm so sorry Hon!! Make sure you don't have to worry about Yourself!! It's Too Late for them now!! And anyone who tells you different is a coward and wants 10 points!!
They are ready to give you lectures about judgment or tell you what you WANT to hear!! LOOK: Heaven or Hell or Whatever just IS What It IS and not what people DECIDE It Is!! Be sure you are okay. And remember the thief on the cross who asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus came into His kingdom!! Jesus took him to Heaven That Same Day!! BUT the other one???????@8-]

If they are truly a good person, then regardless of faith God would accept them into heaven. The act of suicide is forgivable always because if one commits suicide they are obviously misguided and not in a completely stable state of mind. They can therefore not be held responsible for their actions. Finally the fact is that it is between that person and God to judge their actions.

The Standard of YHVH is perfection. (He created this world very good). Since man after sin can no longer make himself very good, YHVH sent the Savior YAHOSHUA to save men from their sins. The only way our sins can be dealt with is for us to invite the Savior in to carry our sins. If we choose not to avail ourselves of His provision, then we choose to remain connected to our sins, in which case we will be burned when they are when this world is cleansed by fire before the Almighty makes it new. How could He be more generous? If a person accepts the Savior as Lord of his life, then he will do those things that the Savior told him to do. He told us not to murder. Therefore to do murder it would seem that one must not have the Messiah for a master. (Sometimes it sounds like a hard thing.) I will assure you of this: In going over the books, no one will be able to say that the Almighty could have been more generous. All will admit that He did the most loving thing He could do.

According to the Bible, whether a person commits suicide is not what determines whether he or she gains entrance into heaven. If an unsaved person commits suicide, he or she has done nothing but “expedite” their journey to the lake of fire. However, the person who committed suicide will ultimately be in hell for rejecting salvation through Christ, not because they committed suicide. The Bible mentions four specific people who committed suicide: Saul (1 Samuel 31:4), Ahithophel (2 Samuel 17:23), Zimri (1 Kings 16:18), and Judas (Matthew 27:5). Each of them were wicked, evil, sinful men. The Bible views suicide as equal to murder – that’s what it is – self-murder. God is the One who is to decide when and how a person should die. To take that power into your own hands, according to the Bible, is blasphemy to God.
What does the Bible say about a Christian who commits suicide? I do not believe that a Christian who commits suicide will lose salvation and go to hell. The Bible teaches that from the moment a person truly believes in Christ, he or she is eternally secure (John 3:16). According to the Bible, Christians can know beyond any doubt that they possess eternal life no matter what happens. “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13). Nothing can separate a Christian from God’s love! “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). If no “created thing” can separate a Christian from God’s love, and even a Christian who commits suicide is a “created thing,” then not even suicide can separate him from God’s love. Jesus died for all of our sins...and if a true Christian were to, in a time of spiritual attack and weakness, commit suicide - that would be a sin that Jesus died for.

That is up to God to decide since only God knows if someone is saved.
Jesus told us: I judge not, and if I do judge it is not I who judge but the Father in me. The Holy Spirit can tell you if someone is saved or not, but, you cannot know.
If you judge, that is if you make a judgment about someone without the Holy Spirit, you have determined yourself to be equal to or above God and you are sinning.
Unless the Holy Spirit tells you if a person is saved or not, you cannot know so you can't tell if they go to Heaven or Hell.
Once a person is saved they are saved forever. God loved David in spite of David having committed adultery and murder. God loved Solomon in spite of Solomon breaking commandments about riches, wives and chariots as well as Solomon worshiping other Gods.
People screw up, God knows this which is why God sent Jesus Christ to us so that we would know the Good News, Forgiveness of Sins.

If they are truly saved, they go to Heaven. Suicide is NOT the unpardonable sin, that's a Catholic notion.

i personally believe that nothing short of our own denial can seperate us from God once we've accepted him. suicide sends you to heaven. God doesn't approve of it. He wants us to stay on earth, and fulfill His plan for us. but if we commit suicide, we go to paradise for eternity. it sounds llike we should all be downing pills when i put it that way, but as i said, God wants us to stay here and witness to others. if you're depressed and considering suicide, pray for his unexplainable peace and understanding. trust me, i'm talking from expierience. if you're talking about someone you know, i believe that if they truly believed Gods truths and accepted Jesus in their hearts, you will see them again one day.
