Here are a few solutions:

1) Are you really eating only a bagel for lunch? If you are, you are not eating enough food. You need calories to burn calories.

2) Also, it seems you are eating too much carbs/sugar. Try eating mostly protein for a while to jump start your metabolism... lots of chicken, eggs, even bacon and meat.

3) Since I love my stomach being in shape... To me, variety is the key. I will rather do 20 different types of tough abs workout than doing 200 crunches. Try Tamille Webb Abs.

There are several disorders that make you gain weight...or will not allow you to lose weight (diabetes, thyroid etc...) It sounds like the bulk of your calories per day come from carbohydrates. Try eating a little more protein and less carbs...keep the calorie intake to around 1200-1400 calories per day and see if this changes . If not I would follow up with the Dr and get a physical to eliminate a medical problem causing this problem.

Are you in perimenopause or menopausal. It's harder to lose weight during this time.

For women this is a common complaint. Spot reduction exercises don't work except to tone the area.

bagels are so not healthy, that may be it. You may want to add some varietty to your diet and exercise because it seems to me like you have hit a plateau.
