we can pull it off only if there is enough americans nation wide that will do it. right now there are to many americans with their tails tucked between their legs. i am a 13 year old and i don't want to have to work and pay taxes for illegals who are getting free everything. i am our country's voice of the future. i'm not racist, i'm half black and white. i have cousins who are porto rican's and white, american mexicans. they feel the same as i do. i plan on being teacher when i finish with school. i don't want to have to give more time to a student who can't understand what is being taught because they can't understand english. every child deserves to have the same mount of attention while in the class room.

Americans have one of the strongest work ethics on the planet. 95% of the population is not unionized and are only annoyed by strikers who, for the most part, they don't identify with; it's hard to identify with a person who is employed, has the best benefits on the planet and wants more for less. Therefore, a national strike would not work. Only those marginally, self or unemployed would take part and the image of those people on the typical media would not engender a lot of sympathy. So, my answer is - won't work.

I've wondered that question, too. I really don't think all of American workers, everyone, could get so coordinated to pull it off. And if we did, a bunch of immigrants would come in and get the jobs we do have.

that would only hurt america. and thats IF you could pull a nationwide strike. when you do that nationwide strike, the companies you work for will notice that they could outsource for less money, and the international workers wont strike. so you striking is taking away your job security.

In June there is going to be a protest march in Washington!!! If you can't be there,they suggest you march at your state capitol!!! You can probably find out more info at F.A.I.R. website, or even the Minutemen website!!! We need to ALL participate,and let our government know that we are NOT going to sit by while they give our country away!!! ( I believe it's June 14-16) Let's tell ALL of our friends and family, and go MARCH FOR AMERICA!!!)

Yes, but would you......strikes cause disruptions in the
smooth flow of a country...................................................
They cause loss of revenue, and just generally cause a
lot of grief for all concerned...............................................
