Great Accents-
Brummie, Scottish (particularly Edinburgh), Southern Irish, soft Welsh accents spoken by women!

Awful Accents-
Scouse, Cockney (the clue is in the first four letters!)

I dislike my own voice immensely. I first noticed this when I heard a tape recording of myself. I'm not from Texas but my people were, so I'd have to say Texas Panhandle accent gets a thumbs down with me. I don't mean to offend anyone but I don't care for a Cajun accent either. Absolutely adore an Aussie accent. As far as U.S., the midwest seems to have the least noticeable accent, which appeals to me.

Well, I cant stand the glasgow accent, goes right through me and it makes scotland look bad (Im scottish), Dont like the english accent either, normal english accent doesnt particularly bother me, but I absolutley hate the 'posh' english accent - like that woman on the prudential car insurance advert! Not overly fussy for Australian accents either. I Love the South African accent, the sexiest accent in the world! Needless to say, my husband is south african!!!

I'd say the least pleasant to the ear would be the accents from Liverpool and Birmingham.
I quite like the sound of Welsh and irish

I love southern drawls best - think T-Bag from Prison Break, Mmmmmm.

I'd have to say that Brummie accents get my goat too, not cos I don't like them, but because it reminds me of someone I'd rather forget!

I can't stand the common scouse accent or chav (wha'eva..innit).
The southern Irish brogue is nice to listen to.
Although I am Welsh (North) I can't stand the south Wales (especially Cardiff) accent (when they are speaking English).
They sound like Ruth Madoc off Hi De Hi.

The Welsh accent gets on my nerves, but the Geordie accent is gorgeous

I apologise, but the really heavy Northern Ireland accent does absolutely nothing for me... but I LOVE the Geordie accent and an Italian lilt can melt me like butter!! Ahem!!
