Call your vet on this one. It's critical that you give your puppy a flea remedy that will not only work, but is safe for him/her.
Flea baths and fogging are not really effective to a degree that will break the entire flea life cycle. Flea baths don't usually soak the fur completely and really get down to the pets skin where the fleas are biting. Foggers help with the larvae and fleas in the house, but since you remove your pet from the residence while they are being used, it doesn't affect the fleas on you pet at all. Therefore the house gets "reinfected" with the fleas from your pet.
Also learn about the 3 stages of the flea life and how to deal with those also.
Quickly, there are the "eggs", "larvae", and "adult" stages. The ones on your puppy are adults and they are the ones that do the biting and actually cause the discomfort, etc. for your puppy.
Vacuuming and fogging the house helps to get rid of many of the larvae, and possibly some of the eggs, but not all of them.
You primarily need to break the cycle at your pet. You kill the adults with a veteranarian's recommended treatment. That treatment will give your puppy the relief he/she needs, and will eventually break the cycle of egg to larvae to adult. Simply stated you kill the adults which stops egg production, and with no eggs, no larvae are produced, and therefore no adults. The cycle gets broken and you rid your house and pet of fleas completely.
Call your vet !!! Hope this helps.

The Advantage Flea drops are safe for puppies. They can be pretty pricey from your vet, but there are some on-line sites that sell for cheaper.
I've been buying heartworm pills and flea drops from www.petsuppliesnet.com for years and have been very happy. They ship for out of the country, but I have never had a problem.
If you have an immediate problem, check with your vet for the most mild recommended shampoo and then follow up with the drops.
Good Luck

If your puppy is 8 weeks, he is too young for the Frontline types out there. Contact your vet and ask about a daily pill that you can give to puppies. It will kill fleas quickly, but needs to be administered orally on a daily basis. It's a little more expensive than the Frontline, but until puppy is big enuf, it's your only option.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

Kainnine advantix. For puppies. Also, fleas are terrified of water. If you bathe your pup, you can drown the living fleas, but sadly, not the eggs.
