I believe that he has an agenda, A quota, that has to be met,
In order too regain complete control, of heaven, earth, and hell.
I believe we are merely Tools, Pawns, Points, too be gathered
to achieve his victory in this twisted game! Billions of souls
pass Thur life, only a select few are added to his collection
of over comer souls! Why the game, perhaps God was bored!

God and His Holy Spirit (the Spoken Word ) are a family of two. God created us through His Holy Spirit for His own enjoyment to start a family in their image (meaning likeness in every way). We were created perfect and had a perfect relationship with our Father and were to enjoy life and prosper in a perfect paradise. That was the original plan. Until our free will that God instilled in us to love Him freely, caused us to sin through temptation and disobedience to God. We can no longer look upon His face. We chose to separate ourselves by sinning against God. People continue to start families today because that is a feature God gave us for our enjoyment and prosperity. God loved us very much and wanted the best for us as any real Father would want for his children.... We have the same traits of the Father only on a much smaller scale. We are like little gods who rule over all the animals and things of the earth. Our sinful nature through the temptations of Satan is our primary cause of our continuing disobedience toward God. God works in mysterious ways, one of which most of the world does not realize........God uses Satan for His own benefit. It has always been this way. Even from the beginning when we sinned against Him. Our free will, faith and love for our Father is what will determine whether or not we choose to have a relationship with Him and prosper His way and store our treasures in heaven and have eternal life with Him, or we choose to have a relationship with the world, Satan, and prosper his ways and hord the materials of this world through our sinful ways which are only temporary and leads to death.

The only thing I can come up with is that God WANTS us. Since He doesn't need us or anything else, our existence came to be out of His desire for us.

That's all I can muster up.

EDIT: Oh sheesh, I can't believe I didn't write this! God created us to know Him and to worship Him. In fact, this is literally part of my daily obligatory prayer:

"I bear witness, O my God, that Thou hast created me to know Thee and to worship Thee. I testify, at this moment, to my powerlessness and to Thy might, to my poverty and to Thy wealth.

There is none other God but Thee, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting."

Dang, I feel stupid, lol! 8^B

Um,I study religion(ethics) at Alevel, and have been told tht God created us because he wanted to be loved by us, this is why he gave us free will, so that we could choose whether to love him or not....I'm not really sure, whether this is true or not...

He didn't.

There, problem solved.

IF God existed (and its like saying what if the tooth fairy existed) there would be no reason to create humans, let alone anything else. People say he wanted to be worshipped - how disgusting, that a so-called god would make people just to suck up to him. Why would anyone venerate something that pathetic?

He had low self esteem, and needed someone to worship him. Or he was board, well you'd get board too if you were the only living entity in the universe. I don't buy into the whole, "he was so nice and good like Prometheus" because if we hadn't been created, we wouldn't care.
