i cant tell what happened, she showed up at the back patio window and was laying down in the sun all relaxed and then when i fed her, she was crying and moaning

could she have fallen or got in a fight?

she will be fine, if its a clean brake it will be bandged just like it would be with a human with a light cast. She may have a little difficulty but after sulking for a bit and lots of pampering she will be fine!

Ps BLONDE IS REALLY PUTTING A DOWNER ON THINGS! SHE WILL BE FINE!

They will probably just give your cat an injection of pain medicine then put it in a splint. They might suggest only letting her outside for an amount of time each day or just put a litterbox inside your home temporarily. But don't worry! A broken bone never stops a cat from the things a cat loves.

they will either pin the bone or they will put the leg in a cast. Cats can shake off a lot and are pretty hardy if you give them time to adapt. If needed they would amputate the leg, but i can only see that happening in the worst case scenario.

You could consider House training her temporarilly while she has her treatment and during her recovery. I would take the time to consult the vet or another animal physician for more advice. All my cats where in car accidents and they managed to just shake it off after a few days lounging in bed and a little TLC

My hubby stepped on my cat and broke her leg once. The vet casted her leg a few different times but she would not stop chewing the casting so we had to put her in a large kennel in the living room for 3 months until it was all healed up. It was a pain in the rear, but doable. She had to "use" a litter pan, which wasnt easy and got messy so i suggest a good brand cat food for hard poo.

They will probably give her a cast. Don't worry. I have read a book about animals and vets and broken bones are usually nothing to be worried about. Your vet will probably explain to you what you have to do to take care of your kitty. Good luck! :-)

She also could have been hit by a person with a hard object. Thats one of the many things that happen to outside cats. Pets belong inside.

I'm really sorry for your cat. She might be put to sleep because the animal is suffering.
