No...Not really...I mean Christianity has Figureheads like Pat Robertson, Jerry falwell ect. As far as intellectuals no not really. I mean if your Smart Enough to be Intellectual you know there is no God. The only person I can think of who comes close is Francis Collins, A Scientist, He is a Christian but he believes in Evolution and the Big bang. Its called Theistic Evolution, I have no problem with this because he acknowledges reality but still holds his Religious beliefs, He is currently trying to unlock the DNA code with the Human Genome Project.

Yes. Try Hugh Ross (Creator and the Cosmos) for a view on the laws of physics and the first chapter of Genesis. Or Thomas Behe (Darwins Black Box) for a look at micobiology (might be especially interesting for you if you like evolution theory). You could also try A Case for Faith (the author's name escapes me at the moment). This book is written by an journalist who looks at historical and archaeological proofs for the Bible. It's a little more fluffy than the other two though.
Creator and the Cosmos might be a little heavy duty if you aren't a math/science type (no offense meant, but the book is very heavy on math and the latest astrophysics theory and very dry. It reads more like a class textbook than an exploration of theology). There's another book about Old Earth Creationism that's really good but the name escapes me at the moment. I'll post it later after I look it up (it's less heavy duty with mathematical proof, concentrating more on theory).
There are other books in this vein but these are the two (Creator and the Cosmos and Darwin's Black Box). I would start with. If you are interested in a serious discussion on matters of theology and science please feel free to email me (I have the option enabled in my profile). I always like to discuss things with someone who has an opposing viewpoint.
Hope this helps

If you think Dawkins is a genius, I have some swampland in Florida to sell you. Intellectual giant. Har Har. To call him an intellectual giant, is to take away from those who really have talent. Google Christian theology, there are quite a few.

All his books are online for free, his arguments destroy darwinism, and atheism
I suggest checking out the video clips as well as reading his books.
