Not really sure if this will work or not...but you could give it a try. I have two cats and they both at one time or another have drunk water from the sink or bath faucet. One still does til' this day.

1) Maybe you could put the bowl in the sink of tub so they feel comfortable with it being there...maybe the kitten will drink out of it, then you could move it back after a week.

2) If you don't want to try that you could buy a bowl that has a running water stream...you have to plug it into an outlet though. The only down side to that is that you have to keep changing the filter. I think they cost under $20.

3) If that doesn't work..maybe get one of those water containers that you see in a hamster or rabbit cage...hopefully you won't need to do that.

He might just snap out of it when he is tired of drinking milk...cats are finicky and most times they will do things on their own time...GOOD LUCK!!!

They have water bowls at the pet store that keep the water flowing freely the whole time. These bowls work great for cats that only like to drink from running water from sinks/bathtubs. In addition, it filters the water and reduces the amount of bacteria build-up. They are about $35.

Your cat likes fresh water so try giving them bottled spring water and add some Rescue Remedy to it. That will get him to prefer drinking from a bowl.

There is a bowl you can buy that is like a tiny fountain for cats and dogs to drink from that recirculates the same water.

Don't worry if you let him drink when ever your around he'll still be fine, Maybe he would be entertained by one of those dispensable water bowls. It may just be the attraction of the action the water gives out in the faucet,The tall glass is a mystery to me?

Mine is the same. She is 5mths old. Love Whiskas milk and no water..
Is it a Bengals?
What I do is to add little by little water to her milk and she drinks the milk.
I used a syringe to play with her and make her drink water.. about 10-15mls each time.
Then I decided to get her a fountain drinking for the cats.. and
Wallah...! I have solved my problem.
I hope you can too.
good luck.

You need to stop giving him milk. It's not really good for them unless it is cat milk. I know that people think milk is good for cats but cows milk is really not good. If you put water down he will drink if he is really thirsty. You just have to be firm. I know this sounds gross to some people but if your toilet is always clean he will drink from it as well. Toilet water is always clean.
