Well I'm the mother of a 15 yr old boy and we talk about this. I tell him to tell her things like 'hey, cool kicks' - shoes lol (hey, I didn't know that until he told me) or 'you like nice today'. Nothing like 'you look freakin' hottt' or 'nice *** baby'. Be sweet in whatever you say. Compliment what she's wearing or compliment her directly. Be kind and look her in the eyes.

keep it simple. eyes, smile, laugh, apparel, etc. the most important thing is to be sincere if you do compliment her. ladies can spot a guy being fake a mile away.
