by far the best way is to row, so much to see on the way, take in the scenery and the fresh ocean air, beware coming around the cape of good hope as there could be a bit of a swell. check out the twelve apostles in the great australian bite on the way, there fabulous this time of year

Depends on the time of year, and how far in advance you are able to book (the further in advance, the cheaper, usually).
There are no budget airline routes to NZ, so check on a site like www.opodo.co.uk or www.skyscanner.net to compare.

on a rocket?!
you have to go on a plane i mean that takes about nearly 24 hours so ferrying driving across country ferrying driving across country and so on would take almost forever!
