My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 2 months. We're currently doing the long distance thing because we're at different schools until this fall. Right now we see eachother every other weekend and talk on the phone every night. Most of the time everything is fine; we talk and laugh and tell eachother how much we love/miss eachother... but then about once a week we'll be talking and having a good conversation and then out of nowhere he gets really quiet and stops talking...I ask him if anything is wrong and he says no...but then he's like that for the rest of the conversation. I'll say something like "I miss you" and he'll just be like "ok" or "yeah"...and that's all he'll respond to anything else I say too. So far everytime this has happened he's apologized within a few days. Last night while we were talking he did it again, and I know it's all I'll be thinking about the whole day....I feel so helpless when this happens...I don't know what to do.

I think he maybe going thought something he wish not to share with you at this time. just let it pass for now, OK remember your relationship is young so just take time to know him more. What you guys like and dislike of each other and work on it. and always be open to each other if you and your relationship to last trust plays a big part.

Take care & Good luck.

he's a loser.
next time he does it, hang up on him.
let HIM call YOU back.
when he asks what you're problem is, say "yeah" or "ok".
don't give him anymore explanations for why you hung up.
sometimes, you just have to beat them at their own game.
Women have to be firm when dealing with guys; if they feel you are at their complete disposal, they'll ALWAYS treat you like crap. I used to date this guy, and one morning, just to be nice, I gave him breakfast in bed. I actually got up early, and cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, and belgian waffles. His response: Wow, thats too much food. My reaction: I took the plate back, and threw it in the garbage. After that, He NEVER said anything negative about a meal I gave him again. Don't let them get away with behavior that totally pisses you off; if you do, they'll never stop doing it.

having a relationship is a learning process it it a two way street you learn all the road signs the humps and bumps
you will learn when to keep to the right
and when to put the right signals
your relationship is a little bit young give your relationship more time then you will find out the exit route

Find someone better he's cheating on you. And when he gets quiet and just says "ok" or "yeah" it's because his friends are with him and he thinks he'll sound like a sissy if he is sweet to you while they are listening.

be closer together. I can think of two reasons why this guy is behaving this way.....one, because he can't stand being away from u and when u do say things of that nature such as i miss u , it makes him realize how he feels and it seems like he doesn't want to show his emotions, like ur typical guy. or two......bad as it sounds has found someone else!

dating 2 months...jeese, tell him how you feel when he does that.
you don't really know him after 2 months...he might be a wierd or bad person or have emotional problems if he is doing this to you
be careful and make sure...2 months is not that long

be cool...
