Only fellow Christians answer please, all other sarcastic remarks or insults will not even be read.

Concerning the evolution/creation debate, I have found in my research that the debate is not so much about "evidence" but about philosophy.

It seems like this is about not having any rules or laws governing human behavior, secular man does not want anything or anyone telling them what they can or cannot do, so as a result, they will even go so far as to "fabricate" scientific evidence to substantiate that point of view to give them permission to do "whatever" they want with no penalty and to give them "peace of mind" free of "conviction" what say you to this?

I agree, as far as I can see there is no truth forthe theory of evolution at all,and it has now become the case were they are desperatly trying to make thier supposed facts fit the theory, I do not say this lightly as I have read Darwin and Dawkins etc and there is not a shred of true evidence to their theories.
Darwin for example could not explain how the eye fitted into his theory and the fossil records have not even yet shown any facts to support evolution theories at all.
Check out this website for superb factual evidence by scientists who disprove evolution.

Good Morning Lion, I will try my best not to be too sarcastic, as a former Christian, I will try and give you my perspective on this theory, if you are interested in theories from those who you hypothesize about?

There is no doubt that a certain amount of Faith is required to believe in many of the "evidence" displayed by scientists as proof. I have found that some of it is nothing short of an idea propped up with flimsy findings. However, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that has been supported by hard fact that supports evolution. Where as there is little to no evidence supporting Creationism.

There is also no doubt that Philosophy is deeply interlaced with ones belief's about the origins of Human life. After all none of us were there to witness what really happened. However, a religious belief in the origin of life, is primarily based on written text that can be thousands of years old. It requires a good amount of Faith to build a belief system on "inspired" documents from 2000+ years ago. The other problem is that there are many flavors of religion to choose from, each with its own story of the origin of life. How does one determine, which religion is real and gives an accurate accounting of the beginning of Human kind? A Christian will answer that God will lead you to the right answer through Faith, so will a Hindu, as will a Buddhist.

Philosophy is an important part of belief, but don't religious beliefs require a more determined philosophy? After all, if you were suffering from cancer, would you go to the top of the line cancer center, and benefit from all the scientific discoveries and theories learned? or would you go to a medicine man from a 2000 year old culture? Religious people are very quick to discount scientific discoveries when it comes to evolution and geology, but in the fields of medicine and technology it appears as if those scientists had it right?

In regards to not wanting to be told what to do; Atheists and Agnostics are law abiding citizens, I believe that in the US you will find that crime rates very similar between professed Christians and professed non-Christians. We live with rules and regulations as a part of a functioning society. I think you will find that it is the religious that are causing a majority of the terrorist activities today. They are able to justify murder, and kill with peace of mind. When was the last time you heard about an Atheist killing everyone in a church? Yet good Christian boys are burning Black churches down south every few years?

In reality Atheists, and Agnostics do pretty well when it comes to abiding by laws and being told what to do. When I finally became an Agnostic, I found that my outlook on morality changed quite a bit. I am now proud of my morals, and find that I feel rewarded for doing the right things. In the past, I felt as if I was abiding by God's law to stay out of hell. Now, I am still a moral person, but do so with happiness, rather than shame.

You have probably stopped reading by now, because this doesn't fit in with your packaged belief system, but let me assure you, Atheists and Agnostics believe in evolution based on the science that we are presented with. Just like we go to the doctor, because of the science that they have learned, log onto a computer because of science and live in a warm house because of science. We all benefit from science in every part of our lives. Atheists and Agnostics, choose not to throw out entire branches of science (Geology/anthropology/physics/sociology) to support philosophical beliefs, that are wholly defined by Faith alone.

That is up to the Theists, correct?

I'd say that you are absolutely correct. Only someone with a weak heart and no desire to live their life according to anyone's ideas other than their own would fabricate evidence to support their claims in their mind. This is much like christians picking the world over for scientific evidence that noahs ark was real, and that the world flooded. Trying to explain away missing links as monkeys or men with bad backs. This is kind of like christians dismissing evolution saying god does not need genetics to create us, when all evidence points to a giant mechanism of evolution with the end result (so far) being mankind.

Correct. These groups are defining the same questions from different perspectives or professions. Both are valid, but require each other, to debate, discuss, and search for Ultimate Truth.

To isolate in their separate professions is a certain sign for me that their arguments are limited. Christians do not fear truth or the discussion of truth because our Savior as assured us of Ultimate Truth. The discussion is easier to engage when Jesus is in-charge.
God Bless

so, on the very topic of evolution you want a bunch of christian answerers? What is the point?

Seriously, do you people come here to look for an "Amen" or an answer/contending viewpoint?

There is no issue of philosophy. Maybe some scientist, somewhere at some time managed for a very short time to sneak in a bit of fabrication or, heaven forfend, make an honest mistake (happened a lot) but this always has been and always will be corrected by PEERS.

Because science doesn't happen in a vacuum. There is a very large body of scientists ACROSS THE GLOBE working on these things. Conversely, religious 'prophecy' and 'miracles' ALWAYS seem to happen in a vacuum. Some guy claims he saw god, and god told him...

Interesting, no?

I say that many of our own brothers and sisters are just as bad and make us appear foolish. God is the creator of the universe so the laws of science can help us understand what He did and how He did it. There is no reason for us to put science in opposition to our beliefs. It defies logic. How can we interest nonbelievers in stupidity? God makes sense. We should too. Sometimes it is our own fault that atheists mock us and won't listen to what we have to say.

PHILOSOPHY is EXACTLY RIGHT!!
There are NO common DNA to humans and Neanderthal "Man." Scientists like to USE Neanderthal Period, because it was the nearest to the begginning of humans, in time....so THEY say!
Like ANY THING you can't SEE, it takes FAITH. TIME and GOD can't be seen. So, KNOW HE IS!!
ALSO, The EARTH is NEAR CENTER to the UNIVERSE. Giving the thought that we are NEAR God's ORIGINAL home. AND The CLOSEST STAR's LIGHT, is EXACTLY 4.3 DAYS away from the Earth, giving light to the fact that God created the Heavens on the Fourth Day.
ASLO, In EVERY cup of DIRT are the SAME minerals that are contained in EVERY HUMAN!!
If you read the Word, Abraham had MANY nay sayers in His Time. Probably what is the true cause of our problems today. The same people that enforced the Laws Then, are scientists today. Thank you Pharisees and Saducees!

i've got self belief that all human beings is entitled to their opinion and that i've got self belief that it relatively is not what God planned to ensue, yet you're surely nevertheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. Its form of like asserting that folk who...think of cussing is high quality are not Christian. it relatively is ridiculous, i understand a large type of Christians who cuss! So i think of you're nevertheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. God will continuously decide you relatively.:-)

The proponents of evolution are closely allied with secular humanism, a philosphy in which there is nothing higher than ones own self. The freedom to do as you please is a very intoxicating drug, but ultimately empty and unrewarding. Those caught in its grip find an ally in evolution, a partner that tells them there is no higher authority than them.

To our friend above who talks about creating things in a vacuum, I wonder how he thinks creation came about before his theory of evolution kicked in. Where is the scientist who can create life in a vacuum?

Your alternative belief to the BEST explanation to the origin of all species--
that some Giant universe King plopped human animals on a tiny little speck of a planet amongst billions in one of a billion galaxies and the whole thing is some elaborate game just to "test" our souls....is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.
