Every time you say it, DO IT. Hold yourself accountable. Think before you say something (will I follow through with what I am saying) stick to it, never waiver. Children need to see this out of their parents, it give them a sense of security, that mom and dad know whats up.

Routine, it always works dont say something and change it 5 seconds later. If you say something mean it and follow through on what the consequences will be. A child is use to routine if thats what you start out with but if you keep switching up on a child then she will be confused and whatever you say will just go in one ear and come out the next.
