Richard Dawkins is a commited Atheist and his views of God are of no relevence to me,he is just another neo-pagan who will deny God untill it is his time to meet God face to face and all his intellectual powers will be of no use then.

firstly, I'm no christian, but since its referring to the old testament god, it more or less (sorta) applies to me as well, (religiously, I'm jewish)
now honestly. I find that little diatribe amusing.
profoundly amusing. him, and some others of his ilk, make SUCH a show, of being SO arrogant about being simply ignorant and lacking understanding and perspective.
it is *him* who is small, and closed minded. with the understanding of things that I have been given and revealed... I can scarcely imagine how the world must look for him.
I wonder if someone like him has ever tried to concieve of the idea of God being an infinitely infinite, gestalt awareness of the sum of absolute infinity of all that is, instead of visualizing God as a mere human that happens to be in posession of superpowers?

The trouble with you lot is you are happy to have a go at Dawkins without ever reading anything he has written. You think you can attack evolution knowing nothing about it and Dawkins knowing nothing about him.
Read The God Delusion, The Blind Watchmaker and Climbing Mt Improbable and you might learn something. At least you will know what to argue against.

I hope that Hell is where he wants to go because that is where he's going to end up at.
I don't feel insulted by his foolish remarks but I do feel sorry for him because no one in Heaven and Earth has come against God and has won.
Furthermore,I find it very odd of Richard Dawkins to talk about God like that and yet he claims to be an outspoken Atheist.
I thought that Atheists don't believe in God or the existence of God and yet he rants on against God like he does believe in God existance and tries to cover it up by saying that it is fiction.
Strange,strange,strange that guy is..

His point of view from secular humanistic view who does not understand God, nor does he have the ability to.
1Cr 2:14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means.
1Cr 2:15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all.

It does not insult me personally. If Dawkins wants to insult God, that's his business. He makes his bed, he will lie in it.

Well it's true. Note that he was speaking SPECIFICALLY about 'Old Testament God'. The Old Testament god _was_ nasty. Real nasty.
Which is why they bolted on the New Testament.
Honestly, they should take the logical next step and bolt on the
Newest Testament and scrap out the homosexuality stuff, include other religions, take out the slavery=OK bit, upgrade the status of women and some other minor edits I can't think of off the top of my head.

When Dawkins calls God homophobic, he shows what his real problem with God is. I do not worry what a miscreant cares about God. That is his cross to bear.

First. Who is Dawkins? I apologize but he is not in my circle of friends or people that I know.
Secondly, with Jesus Christ, who could competently insult me?

I haven't watched it, and have no need to, but if he is insulting my God (Creator of all), he should be glad that God does not hear him. God only hears sinners when they are asking forgiveness of their sins. He does not hear them otherwise (even if they are praying for their lives). He cannot hear those who are not saved (except when asking fogiveness and accepting Him).
