Sure...whole fruits and vegetable are a great source of fiber...fiber is the best laxative. Also whole grains. Check the cereal aisle too....many high fiber cereals on the market, all bran, fiber one, etc. All of these...and plenty of water...will make your elimination problems disappear.

i have this same problem and i have asked multiple times on this website.
i've started drinking coffee which works as a natural laxative. It's helped a little but i don't drink pop or never drank coffee before. I don't like coffee really, haha. But i mix hot coco and coffee together and it's not sooo bad.
Also, ive heard prune juice but i haven't tried it. Grains will help as well.
I bought Metamucil which is a fiber supplement to help you go potty more but i don't take it as much as i should so i can't really say if its completely helpful or not.
I did try and take pill laxatives and it made me very very bloated. and crampy. I hated it and i only took them once. So i stopped doing that.
If you find something else that works defintly let me know! i'd love to have a new idea to try
I hope this helps! =) good luck

Foods that may produce a "laxative" effect:
Milk
Fruit: cherries, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, avocados, mango, papayas, plums, peaches, pears, raspberries, blueberries, oranges, etc.
Vegetables: spinach, carrots, sauerkraut, cabbage, broccoli, peas, sweet potato, corn, green beans, cauliflower, etc.
Juices: prune, apple, apricot, and cranberry
Dried fruits: raisins, apricots, prunes, dates and figs
Spicy foods
High fat dairy products: known to produce laxative effect for some, however may cause constipation for others, trial these foods and if there is no benefit to bowel movements only provide enough dairy to meet calcium needs for age
Foods high in fat: every persons digestive tract is different, for some fatty foods will provoke bowel movements and constipate others
Chocolate: dark chocolate
Caffeine: known to relax anal sphincter and produce a laxative effect for some people.

Go to Asian food stores and look for teas called 'Slim Tea'. There are several brands depending on the type of Asian store you go to. I get a slim tea from Sri Lanka that works very well. It is natural and easy on the tummy--though it tastes terrible! My kind is put in cold water for 30 minutes then drink. There are others that you use boiled water, etc.
Food: prunes--all sorts, drink water.
Ask your doctor to do a complete blood screen. I say this because constipation can be a symptom of a medical condition, like thyroid problems/Hashimotos disease. Also stress is a contributing factor. Good luck to you.
