Do you know that the president Bush called it crusade?
Do you know that he claimed that God came to him in dream and commanded him to invade Iraq?
And finally what do you think of this picture:

Yes they are convincing their soldiers that they are fighting in a holy war.

The picture speaks better than any article.

No. The surge didn't wok either as in achieving the political goals that were set out before it started. Declaring the surge a success is an example of adjusting goals downward and then claiming success. "The secret to the supposed success of the surge is plain to see. If you kill over a million people, wound and maim perhaps three times that many, turn five million more into exiles or refugees in their own land, round up tens of thousands of the young men who have survived this slaughter and imprison them without charges in detention camps, it is possible to achieve a temporary suppression of popular resistance. The “personal traits” of George W. Bush that equipped him to preside over such a venture are gross ignorance, sadism, an unflinching commitment to the interests of the financial aristocracy into which he was born, and an absolute contempt for the suffering of working people. He is, in short, a mental cipher and a moral cripple. No doubt from Berlin in 1939 the Nazi “surge” into Poland also seemed a great success, achieved by similar methods, and there were many who attributed this to the “personal traits,” including the stubbornness and self-confidence, of Germany’s Führer. For the millions upon millions of people in the US and around the world who have opposed the US intervention in Iraq from the outset, the issue was not whether mass killing and the systematic destruction of a society would “work,” but rather opposition to a criminal war of aggression."

Americans in Iraq is stupid! They should leave them alone and let them deal with their own country. Iraq is no threat to the USA and they know that nor do they want to be. These are simple people and the USA is starting so much between them in their own land with their own people. Some USA soldiers are even against this just watch you tube. They go and rape and kill women and girls, sad. But they will get theirs when they stand in front of Allah. INSHALLAH

911 and the death of innocent civilians were caused by crusaders of fanatical Islam.

This I know for certain.

Invasion into Iraq could more correctly called a "counter crusade" Those who bear the sword shall die by the sword.

911 did not cause the western world to retreat, but only dominate the Middle East in even greater numbers.

Peace is the answer, NOT terrorism. Bin Laden has learned. Praise be Jesus Christ.

That BBC picture is weird and scary, but it looks like it was painted by some soldier, and units often display the work of their members.

Bush is weird and scary too. If Cheney weren't worse, I would wish for Bush to be officially and legally declared insane and no longer able to preside.

Without talking to the members of the unit that have that picture (if indeed it was not pasted into the photo), I have no clue what it means to them or why it's there. Without more information and solid facts, it's pointless to speculate on artwork.

As for your first statements, these should have been documented by the press, so you should provide references to the quotes.

The intent of the Iraq invasion was to stop a genocidical maniac, one who had ignored UN sanctions and had acted in an aggressive manner.

Bush does not call it a crusade, and he did not have a dream like you said... that is propaganda.....and lies

if muslims would stop killing each other, it would make it easy for all the rest of us...and we would not have to be there at all....

the picture is edited ......however, i do not criticize the soldiers if they are christians.... at least they are helping people.....the muslims do not help anyone....not even their own people....

The first means nothing, the second,m show a source, the third, show me the article that was for, maybe the caption, perhaps??

Seeing as the only link you give to explain the picture does not come from the people who have the picture up, I am thinking you are full of crap, and the real caption is about photoshopping pictures..

Jesus commanded to love your neighbor as yourself (matt 22:36-40) which would prohibit Muslims to attack Jews. Jews attack Muslims. Christians attack Muslims and so forth.

There would be no bloodshed in the middle east if they obeyed Jesus commandments.

whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." (Matthew 5:38-39)...

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. (Matthew 5:38-44)

To bad Christans, Jews and Muslims don't read.

I'm certainly not a Bush fan, but tell me Kimo, being what you are, where did you get all your information? Surly not a Arab web site. Boy, you just can't get much better than that huh?

It seems that the Holy fighters of Islam don't care much for fighting the Americans. They just seek to kill Iraqis. What does that make them? WORSE.
As far as your picture, This is obviously a motivating thing, but...
We all know whose side Jesus is on.
