Many chinese people can say hello in english,,and goodbye...it is not uncommon for me to walk down the street and hear many people say"hello"....Hello in chinese is " Ni Hao"..(knee how).

uh hello? Is there any other way than saying hello in english? just say HELLO! Unless you mean how to say the chinese hello which would be : ni hao

i am a Chinese,say i always say hello to person in english,in another way if you want you can try to spell this Chinese :ni hao(hello)

Are you saying how CAN we say it when we're Chinese? Can we not speek Engrish?

Anyways, when I greet some Chinese friends (from Hong Kong) I say "Ha-Lo" (because it's funny to make fun of your own supposed "accent"...like saying "eh?"), but on the phone I say it normally (American that is...not British)
