If you believe that Jesus Christ is God, can you show me a place in the Bible or in words - where he plainly said he is God, or atleast clearly implied it. Also can you show where he clearly indicated that he is not God!

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Philippians 2: 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

In the beginning , there was a WORD ant the WORD
was with GOD , and the WORD WAS GOD.(John1:1)
the WORD is referring to JESUS.

Then the angel of GOD appeared to Mary, fortelling she'll
conceive and born a SON to be called EMMANUEL which
means GOD is with us. Then when Mary brought forth a
SON and HE was called JESUS.(Matt.1:20-25)

In His baptism which was done by John, there was the
voice of GOD coming from the heaven saying " This is
my beloved SON in whom I am well pleased " (Matt 3:17)

And because HE knows who HE is ,, HE claims that HE
and the FATHER are one ( John 10:30

you can read the beginning chapter of John...
Paul says HE is before all things ((Col 1:17 )
HE was even before Abraham (John 8:58,
Exo 3:14-15 )

There's so much verses in the BIBLE to give
you the wisdom you need on who JESUS is ,,

SEEK HIM AND YOU'LL FIND HIM . . . . .

Please read the 14th chapter of John and then consider this. I believe in Father God, one so powerful that His Words have a presence of their own but still Father God. Jesus was there the moment Father God said "Let there be light." The Holy Spirit was there the moment Father God saw that the light was good. The love of Father God was manifested at that moment in love for His creation. Our Creator is all-power and glory and love and truth and justice. Jesus was the physical manifestation of the Word of God. It is the face of Father God that we can see, otherwise man would die if he looked on the face of God. Jesus also separated himself in this chapter from the Father but only to designate the authority given to Him by Father God. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of all. He alone will be King in heaven. I am so excited I can hardly finish.

Since others have already given some scriptures....an explanation...

The Father is God....Jesus is the son of god...Jesus is divine like his father, just like you are human because of your father. Jesus was not created....he co-exists with the Father, and comes from the Father....the Holy spirit comes from the father as well....they are all one substance....Jesus and the holy spirit are part of the expression of the father... just like if you had a large pitcher of water, and poured out just a portion into a glass, what is in the glass is the same substance as what is in the pitcher...but is only part of it...the part represents the whole...

God , being God, speaks things into existence, he does not need a wife. Jesus was born of Mary only because Mary was used for a miracle birth- just a vessel in which God would create a physical miracle

When I'm asked this question, I usually send the asker to the first chapter of John.

Jesus didn't just imply that He is God...He was pretty specific about it, in ways that spoke clearly to the people of the day, both Roman and Jew.

Christians will often use the "I and my Father are one" verse to support that claim however they do so by taking the verse out of context. Jesus clearly stated this as a metaphor towards higher states of consciousness........Otherwise he would be contradicting himself when he said "Why do you call me good? No one is good except for the Father in heaven"

I and my Father are one -John 10:30.
He does not claim to be God. He does however in a hundred places, say that he is the Son of God.
